twisted metal? does anyone know if they make a twisted metal for ps3........because....it ended in ps2....and its been 10 years of twisted metal...and....i never got to see the first twisted metals..because am barely...14....

sgoldperson replied: "I don't think they will to be honest. They only did the one on PS2(black) and you figure they had plenty of time to do others. I realize they made one for PSP to try to help the sales of that system but yeah just think the Franchise is considered dead."

When is the next Twisted Metal game coming out for the PS3? So i only played this Twisted metal game on the PS1 when i was much younger, and now since im not too caught up with it, i was curious to know if there is ever going to be a new twisted metal game for the PS3 and if it is going to be as great as the older ones?

what is the whole story to the twisted metal games? is sweet tooth connected to everyone? i just started to get into twisted metal but i would like to know the story behind all this.

da2shae2000 replied: "Ah, Twisted Metal! I've been a fan since the first one came out for the PS1. Well anyway, the general storyline is that a man named "Calypso" hosts a contest in which people battle to the death using their cars in a huge tournament. They battle in many places and cities (In Twisted Metal 2 for the PS1, you could battle at Paris and blow up the Eiffel Tower! LOL). Anyways, the winner of the tournament gets a free wish which of course varies from driver to driver. Some want revenge, some want power, etc... As for Sweet Tooth, I'm still not totally sure about him. He, in my opinion, is just like a logo or a mascot of the whole twisted metal series. Just a psychotic clown who keeps coming back to the game in my opinion."

Does anyone else think the movie Death Race looks a lot like the Twisted Metal video game? As soon as I saw the trailer, I immediately thought of when I would play Twisted Metal Black. Is it me, or does this movie seem eerily similar to the video game? Even the plot line is similar. In TMB, the man was in a mental facility, in DR, the man is in prison... Did anyone else make this connection or am I nuts?

? replied: "Well you know... I think it is like twisted metal minus the racing part. In TM all you had to do was blow the piss out of each other. Racing was never in the equation, but yeah! What do you expect? Nobody can write a good movie anymore."

how to freeze people on twisted metal 2? you know the old game twisted metal 2? my husband has it on ps3 and he is trying to freeze people. any ideas?

Why is Twisted Metal Black: Online the greatest game of all time? The first game to be released for online play for the PS2. It was free with the network adapter purchase and re-released as a dual disc set along with Twisted Metal Black. The ultimate in vehicular combat. Why do you think it is the best?
