Is there a conservative blog-type news website similar to the Huffington Post? Hi, I often read the Huffington Post. It is a liberal blog-style news website. I really enjoy their commentaries and in-depth news that other bigger networks generally don't cover. Is there a conservative website that does basically the same thing? I want to know what the conservatives are talking about :) Thanks!

Spock (rhp) replied: "the Drudge Report. oh, wait -- Drudge tries to only report truth."

Curtis replied: "God I hope not."

www.scapegoatz.com replied: "Drudge Report, or you can look at Ann Couture, or Michele Makilin"

olin h replied: "You own the radio we own the Internet"

Nikki replied: "Try Michelle Malkin. She really good: Melanie Morgan is good, but less well known. Ann Coulter's good for a knee-slapping column once a week. And a really good conservative blog - The Patriot Post:"

squidbilly50 replied: "The weekly standard or the national review online"

Holy Cow replied: "Try the freerepublic.com or Realclearpolitics.com I think either of those would be what you are looking for."

John I replied: "Yes, there is such a site. It's called the Politics section of Yahoo! Answers."

jamie_9q replied: "National Review: Real Clear Politics: Townhall.com"

The Question! replied: "www.FreeRepublic.org "

How does the Huffington Post work? I'd like to learn more about the features and contents of the Huffington post. I've read the article on wikipedia, but I'm seeking further information on how content is produced/selected, how successful it is, what technology it uses... Any other information are welcomed. Thanks for your help.

Coolidea!! replied: "Sorry, can't help you on this one."

Is the Huffington Post a Reliable source for Politics? I'm a policy debater and I see a lot of good evidence from the Huffington Post for politics stuff. I see a lot of weird stuff on their too so I was wondering is the Huffington post a reliable source for accurate politics?

smellyfoot replied: "It's a good place for liberal leaning opinion. But no, Huffington Post is not a reliable source."

Paul Grass,Cheating to the Top replied: "As reliable as most rags out there."

Tucking Fypos replied: "I would fact check anything they say before I use it."

John replied: "If you are a leftist"

Quirk replied: "As with almost every source these days, Huffington Post is a blend of astonishing truths and outrageous misconceptions. One has to sift through it all to find the gems."

Real Grit replied: "its all about $$$"

Is Obama Related To Chavez replied: "Huffington Post is worst source- They are like the National Equirer - wait actually they make up much more lies. Ms Huffington recently asked Biden to quit- that is how arrogant they are- they think they own America- maybe they do?"

mommanuke replied: "As with any other source, you need to fact check anything you can. A lot of the stuff they say is later picked up by the mainstream media, so it has quite a bit of credibility."

Jason T replied: "Most of the information on the Huffington Post comes from other sources. As far as I can tell, they do not do their own research. As such, you should judge the reliability of the information on a story by story basis. The best stories are ones that cite actual data, use real quotes from policy makers, and maintain a relatively open mind toward the truth. And, yes, it is definitely left leaning, so you probably won't hear as many counterarguments as you should in order to make a fully informed decision on issues."

jim vincent lamar replied: "Not at all."

Boozette Jones replied: "That woman (Adriana Huffington) is a repulsive Euro-trash media wh*re. Might as well get your news from the "Bachellorette""

da.yooper57 replied: "Dr. Dope, Never never ever rely on any one source for news political or otherwise. Huffington Post is just as you described in your question and I am glad to hear you can sort out the nonsense from some of the good reporting that they have."

Caribou "LIAR" Barbie replied: "NO The FOX NEWS is the most reliable. They are fair and balanced."

ALAN GRAYSON FOR PRESIDENT 2012 replied: "No just like yahoo answers."

D.Knows replied: "Yes, as long as you rely on the news articles. The articles are a good source because they provide links to information supporting their articles and it's easy to check the facts. However, some of the opinion pieces are odd, to say the least."

Zombie Obama (Zombama) replied: "No, and neither is WorldNetDaily nor The New Republic."

gracie.barbosa replied: "Are you kidding me? Huffington Post is one of the most biased out there. The majority of it is personal opinion with very little hard fact. If you like to read uneducated Op Ed pieces then you go to the Huffington Post."

Jimbo replied: "Oh yeah, the Huffington Post is very reliable. I know because me and the Tooth Fairy were talking about that just yesterday while we were waiting on the Easter Bunny to get the eggs laid."

newkventure replied: "Check to see how all of the reporting organizations report on a story and make up your own mind who is reliable. Some will have more evidence available. You can check out to spot the spin from liberal and conservative news organizations."

What type of Republican newspapers are on the web that are like the Huffington Post? I always read the Huffington Post, but it's really liberal sometimes - what type of Republican newspapers that are online and are updated as frequently as HuffPost?

dajjgrinch replied: "There is a whole list of conservative blogs available for viewing on the ConservativeUSA web site. I am partial to the Michelle Malkin web site. It is frequently updated and is one of the top conservative blogs on the web."

What are some websites similar to Daily Kos and Huffington Post? I really enjoy Daily Kos and Huffington Post. What are some other sites of a similar vein I might enjoy?

Rod J replied: "The Warner Bros. cartoon network site could supply some equally compelling and insightful messages."

KMR replied: "Buzzflash.com rawstory.com democraticunderground.com opednews.com at-largely.com salon.com These are daily reads for me. If you follow voting integrity/voting machine issues, bradblog.com"

why are liberals still ranting about "repugs" on Huffington post comments? I check out the Huffington post comments to try and understand the other side's views supporting palestine and hating isreal, whites, americans, etc., and I am constantly SHOCKED by how bitter these people are. They won didn't they? So why are they still going nuts and calling republicans nasty names?

acablue replied: "Why are Republicans so bitter and hostile on Y/A?"

Your horns are showing Morris. replied: "I hate to break it you... there are extremists on both sides."

No Pinheads replied: "Puffington Post is a waste of time, its only filled with liberal lunatics that don't have a grip on reality, they whine about the poor terrorists being killed, yet disregard the fact that Hamas attacked Israel, Israel needs to obliterate Hamas once and for all and end this silly notion of talking to the terrorists, didn't work for Clinton didn't work for Jimmy Carter and will NOT work the "token one" Obama"

cattledog replied: "I don''t know, I don't read the Huff Post on a regular basis... just like I don't read Limbaugh or O'Reilly's newsletters. Both sides have their rags full of intolerance to the other side."

Dog Father replied: "Liberals rant all day long they are just miserable people. The true Demos on the other hand I don't get why they think Republicans should be happy about a loss. Demos won one finally and they are rubbing our noses in it. So for all their hard work we will put Obama under the microscope and dig through his past. You demos think your defending Obama when in fact he's going to duck more fire because of your efforts... Demos when Obama falls point your fingers in the mirror."

Cynthia R replied: "Because liberals are little wusses who are too retarded to get real research to make good arguments against republicans so their narrow minded selves resolve by name calling and pouncing on the stupidest things possible because they are immature and have no idea what else to do."

Question replied: "Because we want you out of US politics for good, that's why."

Fat_Iggy replied: "Don't go to the site, don't care..but I don't support state sponsored genocide committed under any circumstance, nor do I support any doctrine that advocates religious, cultural or racial supremacy. You don't have to be a liberal to acknowledge that one genocide committed 70 years ago does not justify another one today."

homegirl replied: "You will be happier if you stick with Newsmax.com for your news."

NoHate replied: "Cynthia R--you are so funny, calling people nasty names while you complain about them calling people names. BTW-your 'preacher' was in a drug induced stupor most of the time."

KARAOKE! replied: "Why a conservative or GOPer would ever go to the Huffington Post is suspicious, anyway."

AFter reading the Huffington post I realized that liberals are silly people except this? Please read. It makes so much sense, it will change the minds of ALL the leftess anti-Israel/ Bush people. PS i got it off the Huffington Post >
Thomas SR replied: "Whoa! How did that get on there? Somebody at the Huffingtonpost is gonna get fired for that slip-up!"

Lisa M replied: "How nice that Israel cares more about the Palenstinians than Hamas does. What will prove interesting is when Obama takes office Jan 20. Then we'll see how the Jewish block that always votes Democrat feels about the President that said in his book, "in times of trouble I will always stand with my Muslim brother.""

Warren T replied: "VERY GOOD AND TRUE BUT THE FAR LEFT WILL REJECT IT."

tehabwa replied: "Uh, we're not silly enough to think that ALL liberals write for the Huffington Post. But then conservatives tend to be really poor thinkers, irrational, and not reality-based."

How much money is the Obama Campaign paying Huffington Post/DailyKOS to smear Sarah Palin? She seemed to have a pretty clean record, and all of sudden she announced for VP and this massive smear hit job's are being posted without any proof or facts. How much did the Obama campaign put in for these pieces?

. replied: "The messiah promised them a place in heaven with 40 bongs, a pound of weed and a never ending supply of brownies..."

lovechildpalin replied: "FACTS are coming on Wed to a supermarket near YOU!!"

pretty boy replied: "What is wrong with your brain..have you no depth?"

pullman_wa_1968 replied: "I estimate that the Huffington Post/DailyKOS has about 2% of the following of right wing radio talk show and FOX news (Fair and Balanced), therefore, I am assuming that the amount of money being paid by the Obama Campaign is about 2% of the amount of money being paid to FOX and right wing radio talk shows by GOP friendly institutions."

Sophie replied: "No one has to pay the Huffington Post and the DailyKOS to put out disgusting filth. That's their goal."

g replied: "it's a tiny record... that's why it's clean... and that's what most of the fuss is about... the tiny record... oh, and that what little of it there is seems to be ultra conservative..."

Meg M replied: "Even some of the Daily Kos' own registered users are disgusted:"

Fatefinger replied: "Hey, just look at all the libtards posting slander "questions". I'm taking a break from insulting them but I think it's one person with multiple accounts. The biased liberal media needs somethingg so they are going to make crap up to try and slander her and then use the hitler idea of repeating the lie until the masses believe it. Common tactic for liberal scum. Edit: Oh, and the second idiot that answered. He's just a troll and the one person I'm talking about. But it looks like he deleted his answer. From the people who made up the lie in the first place. Wow, these fucks are low..."

? replied: "Actually, she did not have a clean record. She has been investigated for quite some time now about trying to have her ex-brother in law fired from his job. Also, for possibly claiming a baby that was indeed her daughter's. There are pictures of her apparently when she was 8 months pregnant and she was flat as a board. Also, a woman does not give a 30 minute speech then board an 8 hour flight after her water breaks. This is common sense."

Sue S replied: "Hmmm, when the truth equals something that makes you look bad, I guess that's hard to accept -huh buddy. How about refuting the things about Palin if you don't think they're true. Can you do it?"

What are the Republican equivalents of Daily Kos and Huffington Post? I would like to go read them and see what the other side has to say about similar topics. And don't you people tell me that nothing of that sort exists.

Philip McCrevice replied: "As a Conservative I would also like to know. I know Hannity and Rush and Levin are conservative talk show hosts, but I know of no Conservative site that willfully distorts the truth, and uses a few true facts as a foundation for a house of cards built on faulty logic."

Zardoz replied: "The White House"

smellyfoot replied: "No clue really. I think those sites are backlash to conservative talk radio...."

Lydia replied: "Republicans cannot compete in the swine business, that is a bar only liberals can stoop to."

Gen. Stiggo [Atheati-in-Chief] replied: "Worldnetdaily and Newsmax are two of the biggest conservative sites. HuffPo, though, while mostly liberal, is unlike many of the others in that it has contributors from both sides. Daily Kos is frequently reprehensible, and I'm a liberal saying that."

montcalm replied: "well, popular conservative online areas are free republic and matt drudge. but buyer beware, scholars have traced the obama is a muslim meme to free republic (which is more of a forum than a blog) and drudge prides itself on rumors and national enquirer-style whisperings."

Would printing out for "floor use", editorial opinions from the Huffington Post a great way to train your pet? Housebreaking your dog or cat and be such a trying thing to do without the correct tools, and when examining this type of political content from this standpoint, would the obvious reaction to being exposed to it be a "foregone conclusion" and therefore possibly be appropriate to animals as well?

captainspalding3 replied: "That's what I used. Now, it's the only thing my bulldog will poop on."
